Plan Your Stay
Wilde Lodge is located on the border of Powys, Shropshire and Herefordshire near the beautiful village of Brampton Bryan. The border area is famed for its pastoral beauty and is rich in history and culture. A "Foodie" area, this is a real field to fork country so you can enjoy the produce which is close at hand.
Why not visit one of the many PYO farms, enjoy a lunch in an historic local pub and visit the annual food festivals to celebrate all that is good to eat and drink. You'll find plenty of inspiration on our pages: Food and Drink, Explore and Festivals & Events.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Lodge soon!
Getting In, Out & About
Walking to the train station at Bucknell will only take you around 20- 30 minutes (depending on your pace). Head down to the river, cross the bridge and then head up and over the railway line to the road. Turn right onto the road and follow this until you come to a t junction and the train station is right there. Please see the National Rail website for more information or just ask us to help with train times and good places to visit.
The coast isn't far from us, which makes a great trip out.
There is a bus service which runs from Knighton to Ludlow and vice versa.
