Guest Kit List & Advice

Wilde Lodge is tucked away in a beautiful, rural setting. For this reason, we have provided a kit list so that you are prepared ahead of your arrival.

When you arrive, you may be asked to park in our front field and take a short walk into the lodge through the grounds (bring a umbrella just in case).

Accessible parking is available in our courtyard.

Footwear:

The ground outside the lodge and surrounding the safari tent is graveled so high heels can be tricky. Great for inside the safari tent, but we recommend bringing comfortable shoes for outside and the lawns.

We also recommend bringing walking & river shoes, so you can explore the wonders that the lodge has to offer.

Clothing:

We recommend bringing warm clothes to wear throughout the day, from outdoor ceremonies to star gazing beside the fire pits at night.

River:

Swimming Towels are great to bring, if you decide to go for a dip. Inflatable raft’s and games are also welcome.

Bar:

Our Wilde Bar Services take cash, cards and bribes!

No alcohol is to be brought on-site on the wedding day, thank you.

Ground Rules:

Fireworks & Chinese lanterns are not allowed at all. We rather like our neighbours’ forests, fields and crops that surround us.

Confetti - natural only please, the field mice prefer it!
