Our Day

11:30am Arrival time

12:30pm Ceremony in the Long barn

2:30pm Speeches and Wedding feast

Followed by drinks, music, dancing and evening food

Midnight-ish Time to hang up those dancing shoes

Venue

Right on the border of England and Wales (but on the Welsh side) we will be getting married at the Wilde Lodge Knighton.

The ceremony and wedding feast will take place in the Long Barn and live music/DJ will be in the Safari Tent (which also contains the bar). Therefore we will be protected from the elements, should it be required, throughout the day. However, fingers crossed the weather will be glorious and we would love you to be able to enjoy all of the Wilde lodge’s beautiful grounds, we’d advise bringing some comfortable shoes and something cosy for the evening too.

A good selection of beverages will be available to purchase at the bar accepting cash and card. If you need a break from the dance floor, fire pits and warm blankets will be ready for the evening to get nice and cosy!

Taxis

Taxi’s will need to be pre-booked if you are staying at local accommodation due to the venue being slightly out of any towns or villages. Link further below to local taxi numbers.

Dress Code

Whatever you feel comfortable in, but we will be dressing to the nines.

Plus 1’s

Although we plan to celebrate big, we are keeping the numbers small. We are only able to extend an invite to those that are named on the invitation which unfortunately encompasses little ones and furry companions.
