Alice & juStin

Tuesday 20th August 2024

We are both so excited to host you for our wedding celebration at Wilde Lodge this August. We immediately fell in love with the surroundings and all it had to offer.

Many of you are travelling from near and far - and with that you may have many questions! Rest assured, find all the information you will need; RSVP form, itinerary and timings for the day, Hels Bels Tents booking link, local accommodation, recommended kit list, directions to the venue, taxi booking links and more below.

We will be adding updates as the day approaches, so do check back for further information.

RSVP

Most important step, please RSVP and answer some key questions on this form no later than 1st April!

RSVP HERE

Below is our provisional itinerary, where guests are invited to join us from Mon Aug 19th - Thurs Aug 22nd. We may slightly alter some timings and events as it suits the day closer to the time.

Monday 19th August

Guest arrival from 7pm onwards

For those staying on site, get settled into your bell tent and set up for the big day. A note to please eat dinner before you come, as unfortunately we cannot offer any catering facilities on site this first night.

Alice and Justin will be hosting an intimate dinner with their respective families in the main lodge and will join everybody afterwards for a welcome around the fire pit, before having an early night!

Tuesday August 20th

The Big Day!

Book a warm breakfast bun, with teas/coffees and orange juice for the morning here.

(deadline for all orders 09.07.2024)

As the catering team will be on-site, there will not be any separate facilities (kettles, toasters, crockery etc) available for those in Bell Tents.

Our running order will follow shortly. For those planning to arrive in the morning, things will start no earlier than 12pm.

Wednesday August 21st

We have many planned activities from river swimming, hikes, lawn games, table tennis, as well as rumours of a pub quiz and even karaoke are brewing for the evening.

For catering, we plan to host a breakfast and afternoon BBQ for all those staying to elongate the celebrations.

A more detailed itinerary will follow, so let us know in the RSVP form if you plan to join us.

Thursday August 22nd

Guest departures by 10:00am

Wedding day dress code

For the Wedding Day

Think barn wedding. Bohemian garden party. Country chic. Pinterest it up if you need some inspiration!

For the gents, shirts & suits (with ties are appreciated for the ceremony).

For the ladies, dresses, linen suits, jumpsuits. No colour scheme, wear what suits you, (if you could just avoid wearing white/cream/champagne on the wedding day itself!).

Be mindful it is a farm set-up, with lawns, gravel and outdoor games, would recommend a block heel, sandal or similar shoe.

For Your Stay

Dress comfortably, and suitable for summer festivities of course! We want our guests to feel relaxed and themselves each day. It is also Wales and the weather can be unpredictable, so jumper, brolly, rainmac as well!

Ideas of what you should bring are listed on the Guest Kit List under Useful Links.

Should you need any taxis, it’s essential these are pre-booked ahead of time, as it’s rural Wales! We recommend Wolf Cars

Gifts

Please do not feel obliged to arrive with a gift - we acknowledge so many of you are travelling from far away and making such an effort to join us; your presence is a gift enough.

If you would like to gift us something, a small contribution towards our honeymoon and life together would be greatly appreciated! We will be adding a link/more information on this shortly.

There will also be a space at the event for cards and should you wish to bring a physical gift.
