Welcome to our wedding website.

We are fortunate enough to have the gorgeous Wilde Lodge for the whole of bank holiday weekend.

Our wedding will be on Saturday 29th but we welcome all of our guests to spend the full weekend with us, from Friday evening until Monday morning.

Unfortunately we can’t accommodate children on the Saturday (except babes in arms), but all are welcome to join on Friday, Sunday and Monday.

Accommodation

On-site bell tents are available to book via the link below (the price includes three nights accommodation).

Alternatively if you would like to bring your own tent there are camping pitches available for £55 (please let Catrin or Stefan know if you would like to bring your own tent).

Parking/Taxis

There is ample parking on site but if you’re staying off site and are not planning on driving please make sure you book your taxi home in plenty of time. Details of local taxi companies are at the bottom of this page.

Dress Code

Our wedding day dress code is best described as smart/semi formal.

The bridal party will be in traditional wedding attire (think white gown and three-piece suits), but for our guests we invite you to wear what you feel most comfortable in.

As Wilde Lodge is a countryside venue with fields used for parking and plenty of outdoor space to explore, we’d recommend choosing footwear accordingly. For those wearing heels, wedges or block heels are likely to be much more practical than stilettos!

We’ll also be dancing the night away with a ceilidh, so please wear something you can move in comfortably (or be prepared to kick your shoes off if the weather is kind!).

Much of the day will take place outdoors, and the ceremony barn is not heated, so we’d encourage everyone to bring suitable layers, whatever the forecast.

For the rest of the weekend, please wear whatever makes you happy. We’d recommend bringing comfortable clothes for relaxing and exploring the area, and if you’re feeling adventurous, don’t forget swimwear for a dip in the river.

Weekend itinerary:

Friday

Guests are welcome to arrive from 5pm and check in to bell tents. Those who are staying off site are also welcome to join from this time.

A pizza van will be onsite from 7pm-9pm. These Pizzas need to be preordered so please let Catrin or Stefan know asap if you would like to order, and will be £10 each.

Plan is to have a chilled evening catching up. BYOB

Saturday

Breakfast van will be onsite from 8am- 10am. Breakfast needs to be pre-ordered so please let Catrin or Stefan know asap if you would like to order, and will be £12 each.

Sunday (recovery)

Hopefully a day of relaxing in the sun. Aiming to start the day with a trip down to the river for a swim/paddle, and then occupy ourselves at Wilde Lodge through the day. There is plenty to do in the local area, so feel free to explore!

There will be some breakfast pastries available in the morning, and there is a bbq available for use, but if you bring your own burgers we can store them in the fridge for you!

There are also loads of local cafes in villages nearby.

If you are prepared to drive a little further (30mins) we would highly recommend visiting the market town of Ludlow.
