Chloe & Luke

Saturday July 25th 2026

Welcome to our Wilde Lodge wedding planning page! We are so excited to have you join us on our special day.

We have Wilde Lodge all to ourselves for the weekend! The wedding celebration itself will take place on Saturday 25th July 2026, but we would also love to have you join us for the rest of the weekend. Thank you for your love, support, and for being part of this special chapter in our lives. We can’t wait to celebrate with the people who mean the most to us.

Below you will find a range of information about the wedding, including local accommodation, dress code, directions, and other useful point

Day guests

Please join at 13:00 for arrival drinks, before the ceremony starts at 13:30. If you are camping or glamping, make sure to leave time beforehand to set up or check into your tent from 11:00 onwards (glamping pods will be ready and waiting for those who have booked). Feel free to make use of the toilet/ shower facilities and the getting ready space (with mirrors and electric sockets for hair curlers, straighteners, etc) if you want to freshen up after your journey, but please stick to the camping and glamping area until 13:00.

Evening guests

Please join us from 18:30 on Saturday for music, pizza and dancing! If you are camping or glamping, make sure to leave time beforehand to set up or check into your tent from 16:30 onwards (glamping pods will be ready and waiting for those who have booked). Feel free to make use of the toilet/ shower facilities and the getting ready space (with mirrors and electric sockets for hair curlers, straighteners, etc) if you want to freshen up after your journey, but please stick to the camping and glamping area until 18:30.

RSVP

Please let us know whether you can make it by the 1 st of March 2026 via this link: RSVP

Dress code

Semi-formal, colourful garden party is the vibe! But please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The ceremony is inside but we are hoping that the reception and evening party will spill into the outdoor space if the weather is suitable. We plan to make use of the beautiful grounds to have games out on the lawn, so please keep footwear in mind (if you’re planning on wearing heels then maybe pack a more comfortable option to change into!)

As it is Wales, the weather can be unpredictable, so please consider packing something warm for the evening. We will have fire pits lit and blankets available for the evening as well! For more details, please see Wilde lodge’s “Guest Kit List”

Gifts

Whilst your presence is present enough, if you would like to get us a gift then a contribution towards our honeymoon adventure would be greatly appreciated. We will share a link for this at a later date.

Camping

If you have your own tent or van, you are very welcome to camp on-site. If you don’t have your own tent, or would prefer a touch of luxury, bell tents are available to hire with various tent dressing options to suit your needs. The tents range in size to fit 2, 4, or 6 occupants and we would love for you to stay with us in the glamping village, surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside.

If camping or glamping is not your thing, there are a number of other fantastic accommodation options nearby recommended by Wilde Lodge, all of which can be found further down the page.

Transport

There is plenty of on-site parking at the venue, but all guests not staying at Wilde Lodge must vacate by 1:00.

Please be aware that the Wilde Lodge is very rural and taxis are limited, so please book your taxis as far in advance as possible (we would recommend doing this at least a few months in advance). We recommend Owens Motors (01547 528303)

Please see the link for ‘Taxis’ at the bottom of the page for more options.

Sunday

We will be continuing the celebrations on Sunday to make the most of seeing our friends and family, particularly those who have travelled a long distance. We will start the Sunday with breakfast baps, followed by lawn games, a BBQ later in the day, and a dip in the river if you fancy it!

Please bring your own drinks and snacks for the Sunday.

** Please note that on the wedding day (Saturday), drinks should only be consumed from the paying bar in the Safari Tent **

There will be shower facilities on site all weekend and a getting ready space with mirrors and power sockets for hair dryers, curlers, etc. You are welcome to also remain on-site for the Sunday night with us! However, we must all be off-site before 10:00 on Monday 27 th July.

Things to do nearby

Wilde Lodge is located on the border of Powys, Shropshire and Herefordshire, near the beautiful village of Brampton Bryan. The Offas Dyke Path runs nearby if you would like to do some walking during your visit.

There are also a number of nature reserves nearby, such as Fishpools (Radnor Forest), Birches Farm, and Rhos Fiddle.

There are shops, cafes and pubs close by in Knighton. Presteigne is also well worth a visit (Daphnes Pizza and Wild Thyme Italian are fab!)

The Oak in Wigmore is a beautifully restored 16th century coaching inn which serves fresh, seasonal food and a range of local ales.

The Riverside Inn in Aymestrey is an award winning pub/ restaurant set within the Herefordshire countryside.

The Ludlow Farm shop has a huge range of produce and a restaurant.

If you have time to drive a bit further, we’d highly recommend a visit to Gilfach Nature Reserve, the Elan Valley Reservoirs, or Devil’s Bridge waterfalls (you could also catch the Vale of Rheidol steam train from Devil’s Bridge to Aberystwyth and back).

If you like mountains, we would recommend either heading to Bannau Brycheiniog or Eryri National Parks (Cadair Idris is our favourite!)

If you’re unsure about anything, just give us a bell!

We can’t wait to see everyone xxx
