Emma, Charlie and Eli’s family gathering
Saturday 13 th June 2026
Hello to our wonderful friends & family.
Welcome to our celebration at Wilde Lodge where we are excited to bring together our nearest and dearest to help us celebrate becoming a family. Although the day will look much like your typical wedding, we will have been legally married prior to the party and therefore hope that the focus can instead be on becoming a family of three and officially welcoming Eli into our hearts and home.
Below is some general information and quick links to further information about the beautiful site where we will host the party, including directions, and where to stay locally.
RSVP
Please RSVP by February 1st 2026 using the form link here.
In addition to this please make sure to book your off-site accommodation as soon as you can.
Transport
If you’re driving, there’s a car park, but those looking to book a taxi, we advise booking well in advance as they’re limited. For this reason, we are looking to book a local taxi company (Owen’s Motors) to collect & drop you back off to your accommodation in the evening if you wish, for a small fee. The aim being that they’ll be doing a few trips throughout the evening to accommodate all. We just kindly ask that you let us know whether you’d like to use this service when you RSVP to your invitation, alongside where you’ll be staying so that we can plan accordingly.
If you would prefer to book a private car, see link below to Taxis.
Attire
The party will be semi-formal attire, but please wear whatever you’re comfortable in. We wouldn’t recommend stiletto heels as a lot of the ground is gravel and grass. Additionally, we would suggest layers to warm up in the evening as much of the venue is outdoors.
Children and dogs
This is very much a family gathering and we would love for your children to join us. We are coming up with a few ways to keep little ones entertained and to also offer space for naps etc should this be needed.
Although a very difficult decision, for peace of mind we have agreed not to have dogs on site on the day of the party. Lots of our friends and family have dogs but we can’t possibly know how they will get on with each other and with children in such a busy environment. We are really sorry if this causes any difficulties for you but hope you’ll understand our reasons for this.
Gifts
Your presence is the greatest gift to us, however if you would like to give a gift, we’d be extremely grateful for a contribution towards our next family adventure.
Please be aware that on the day, alcohol can only be bought/consumed from the hired bar onsite.
Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or check back here for updates.
