Jack & Emma – Wilde Lodge 2026

Hi everybody, and welcome to Emma and Jack’s 2026 Welsh wedding hub! To address the elephant in the room, yes, we’re already legally married. In answer to the obvious question, well, there were simply too many of you – our beloved family and friends – that we didn’t celebrate our nuptials with last year, and so the plan was always to throw a BIG party in 2026 to make sure that we did. We’re talking luxury grazing tables, food trucks, incredible live music, a smidge of alcohol, and hopefully a good dose of midsummer sunshine in the rolling hills of the Welsh countryside.

This wedding hub should provide all the information you need regarding dates, timings, location, accommodation, etc. If there’s anything missing that you believe to be crucial, please get in touch with us directly so we can update the hub.

Anyway, here’s a rundown of our wonderful Welsh Weekend!

– THE WEEKEND –

We will be staying at the venue, Wilde Lodge, from Friday 19 th to Monday 22 nd June – the actual ‘wedding’ day is Saturday 20th. We know that Wales is a bit out of the way for folk which is why we’ve teamed up with the amazing Hels Bels and Nomadic Washrooms to create an onsite glamping village for the weekend. The luxury Hels Bels tents range in size to fit 2, 4 or 6 occupants and are the only onsite accommodation option as the lodge itself is reserved for specific guests. We’d love it if people stayed onsite for the whole weekend, so if you like the idea of glamping in the Rolls Royce of tents while minimising any logistical headaches (especially after that smidge of alcohol), then check out the Hels Bels link below. If you’d prefer not to glamp, there are plenty of accommodation options in the nearby area which you can find below. Just note that Wilde Lodge is very rural; if you decide to stay offsite and travel to and from the venue by taxi, please book well in advance (details below) to avoid disappointment as they are very limited.

Friday

Food – Drink – Chill

5pm onwards: Arrival and check-in - For those arriving on Friday, settle into your accommodations and explore the beautiful surroundings of Wilde Lodge.

6:30pm onwards: Food & drink - You’ve travelled, you’ve settled in, and now it’s time to kick back. Full spread of evening food provided by yours truly – specifics TBC – and although it’s BYOB, we’ll be dishing out a few bottles of fizz for that Friday feeling.

10:30pm: Beauty sleep reminder - We love a Friday night bev in the middle of summer, don’t get us wrong. However, we’d never forgive ourselves if we got carried away and stole all the fun from the big day below.

Saturday

Ceremony – Reception – Dance

1:15 – 1:30pm: All guests arrive at Wilde Lodge

2pm: Wedding ‘ceremony’

2:30pm: Canapés and drinks reception

4:30pm: Grazing table wedding feast

6:30pm: Cutting of the cake

7:30pm: First dance

9pm: Evening food

12:30am: Bar closes and taxis for guests staying offsite

*For those still standing (or even crawling), the firepits will be lit for a nightcap under the stars. Warm clothes are recommended for this*

*There is no BYOB on this most blessed of days – all drinks consumed onsite are to be bought from the bar in the Safari Tent, thank you*

Sunday

Breakfast – BBQ – Pub quiz

For the lucky glampers, a local café will be delivering delicioso breakfast rolls in the morning to help cure those inevitably sore heads – specifics TBC.

1pm onwards: Offsite guests welcome to arrive

1:30pm: Big ol’ BBQ

We’ll be throwing down some coal and catering for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike. Once we’re all fed and feeling as fresh as physically possible, we’ll be hosting a not-so-serious pub quiz to keep the good vibes going. The day beyond is an open book!

– RSVP –

We hope that’s enough to tempt you all into celebrating with us and we would be thrilled if you did. On that note, we kindly ask that you RSVP (to say you’re attending, obviously) by the 3rd of April, just so we have time to plan.

– ATTIRE –

The wedding day dress code will be semi-formal with an emphasis on comfort given that it should hopefully be warm. For those wanting to wear high heels, please be cautious of the wide coverage of gravel and grass on the grounds. Warm clothes are recommended for the evenings, especially for those who fancy that nightcap under the stars.

There is also a river that runs right by the venue. Please feel free to bring your swim gear and have a dip if time and temperatures allow.

– TRANSPORT –

Onsite parking is allowed for those who drive to the venue. Directions can be found below. Please note again the limited availability of local taxis and to book as far in advance as possible.

– GIFTS –

Your presence is the best gift we could ever ask for and receive, especially given that Wilde Lodge is a bit of a trek for pretty much everyone. For that reason, we’re more than happy to go without gifts or favours. However, if you do feel compelled to gift us anything, we’d be grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon adventures.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all. If there are questions that go beyond this hub, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Lots of love, Jemma x
