SARAH & BLEDD

Saturday May 8th 2027

Friday 7th - Sunday 9th May 2027

Welcome to our wedding at Wilde Lodge where we are excited to bring together our nearest and dearest to help us celebrate!

This is our ‘hub’ page. All the information you need about our celebration weekend can be found here (hopefully!) Below is some general information about the weekend, accommodation, transport and directions, as well as the plans for the weekend. We hope it helps you plan your journey and stay with us.

We’ve got Wilde Lodge all to ourselves from Friday to Sunday (woop woop), and we’d absolutely love for as many of you as possible to come and make a full weekend of it with us! Of course, we totally understand if you can make the ‘big day’. The wedding celebration itself will take place on Saturday 8th May.

We have chosen to do a weekend celebration because it’s so hard to spend quality time with you all nowadays. So, we thought this would be the perfect excuse for everyone to have a weekend with good company, food and fun and to make some memories……You’re welcome!!!

We have organised some fun activities each day which include a BBQ, fire pits (and s’mores obs), wild swimming in the river, and more!!

You can come back to this page at any point so please don’t feel you have to look at this all at once. Please pop back nearer the date to get more information and clearer updates on the weekend!

The RSVP link is at the bottom if you haven't already filled this in! We can’t wait to celebrate with you! - Bledd and Sarah

Weekend itinerary (TBC!!)

Here’s the “itinerary” - you can of course just do as you please for the weekend as well but Sarah loves a plan (even if she’s not great at sticking to it! *Bledd sighs*)

Between 1-4pm we will be setting up for the big day, if you would like to help please let us know.

Those feeling brave enough and/or need a hangover cure, you can go wild swimming in the river, so bring your bathers and a towel! The day is yours.

Accommodation

Camping at Wilde Lodge

For those of you who would like to stay on site with us, you can (you lucky lot!).

Bell tent

You can book a bell tent equipped with a real double bed or 2 single beds as well as bedding & bed linen, a towel each, hot water bottles & camping lamps for £320 for the 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). You can add additional guests to your tent (up to 4 max per tent). These can be 2 single bed or a double for extra. The tents will be set up for your arrival.

Please note that while the bell tents do not have electricity, a separate getting-ready tent will be available for you. It will be equipped with mirrors and electric points so you can charge your phones and style your hair. Other on-site facilities include an outdoor bar near the camping field where you’ll find drinking water and an instant hot tap for warm drinks.

We have also hired some toilets and showers on site for you to use throughout your stay. If you need any more information please contact Wilde Lodge who will be happy to chat through the tent options and to book please use the link below.

Check in for the bell tents is 1pm Friday, 11am Saturday for day guests and 4:30pm for evening guests.

Camping

If you’d prefer to bring your own tent or Camper-van, you're welcome to do this too! There is an outdoor bar near the camping field where you’ll find drinking water and an instant hot tap for warm drinks but you are welcome to bring your own cooking facilities.

To book your own tent pitch or van spot and stay with us on site, simply click the booking link below and reserve your spot. This costs £55 per pitch which helps us to pay for an onsite shower and toilet room for the weekend. Please make sure you book this as we need to know how many people will be on site at any time!! The checkout for both the Bell tents and campers will be on Sunday afternoon before 4pm.

If you are arriving on friday please come anytime after 1pm.

If you are arriving Saturday morning please give yourself enough time to set up your tent before the ceremony at 1pm. If you are coming for Saturday evening please give yourself enough time to set up before joining the party at 5:30pm.

Staying off sight.

If glamping is not your thing, there are other great accommodation options nearby recommended by Wilde Lodge. Please see the links below.

A lot of the accommodation is within 10 minutes from the venue, we would love as many people to be onsite for as much of the weekend as possible. Please feel free to come to the venue on Friday evening for the BBQ or Sunday morning in your comfies for breakfast!

** Please note that on the wedding day (Saturday), BYO drinks are not allowed and any drinks should be bought from the bar in the Safari Tent **

Taxis and Parking

There is plenty of on-site parking at the venue, but all guests not staying at Wilde Lodge must vacate by 12:30am.

Please be aware that the Wilde Lodge is very rural and taxis are limited and you cannot order a taxi on the night! Please book your taxis as far in advance as possible (we would recommend doing this at least a few months in advance). Taxi companies can be found in the ‘quick links’ section.

Food and Drink

You are welcome to stay for the entirety of the weekend (Friday night - Sunday afternoon) but we understand kids have school and adults have work! Even if you are staying off site you are welcome to come to the events on Friday, Saturday morning and Sunday. All we ask is that you let us know when you plan to join us so that we can make sure you’re included in our catering numbers (or bring your own sandwiches!)

We will provide:

Friday evening dinner - BBQ Burgers, hotdogs and the regular sides (please BYO for anything else you would like cooked on the BBQ as well as drinks - alcoholic or soft!)

Saturday morning brunch - Fresh pastries, fruits, cereal, toast* and hot drinks

Saturday afternoon - Grazing food

Saturday evening - Hot food van

Sunday morning breakfast - Hot breakfast rolls* and hot drinks

Sunday lunch - Jacket potatoes with chilli, beans, cheese etc…

Please let us know about any dietary requirements and we will try to cater for you.

*we’ll get in a variety of milk/cereals/breads - there is a fully functioning kitchen in the lodge so feel free to bring your own food if necessary.

Those with children: we recommend bringing their own snacks for in between meals.

If you're camping, please feel free to bring your own cooking gadgets. There is a hot water tap in the camping grounds and also a drinking water tap for you to use. There are also places to eat in nearby towns including takeaways.

Alcohol and drinks

BYO for Friday night/Sunday if that’s your vibe! Please bring your own soft drinks for throughout the weekend. We will have a variety of soft drinks available and you can get some from the bar on the wedding day as well. Please do feel free to have a sober weekend if you want to also (no peer pressure here!)

On the wedding day itself, drinks must only be from the bar onsite. Wilde Bar Services take cash, cards and bribes!

Dress Code

Friday evening/Saturday morning - Whatever you’re comfortable in…. festival style vibes welcome! Please consider packing something warm for the evenings.

Wedding day - Semi-formal, colourful garden party is the vibe! We plan to make use of the beautiful grounds, much of the venue is gravel, grass, and uneven ground. We plan to have our ceremony outside and have games out on the lawn at the drinks reception, so please keep footwear in mind (if you’re planning on wearing heels then maybe pack a more comfortable option to change into!) The reception and evening party will be indoors but may spill into the outdoor space if the weather is suitable.

Sunday - Comfies, trainers, and bathers for if you go swimming in the river! It’s May but it’s also Wales, so maybe a fluffy jumper and coat just in case! For more details, please see Wilde lodge’s “Guest Kit List”

Children, plus ones and dogs

This is very much a family gathering and we would love for your children to join us. We are coming up with a few ways to keep little ones entertained and to also offer space for naps etc should this be needed. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate anyone not named on the invite!

Although a very difficult decision, for peace of mind we have decided not to have dogs on site. Lots of our friends and family have dogs and we are really sad that we have to make this decision but we can’t possibly know how they will get on with each other and with children in such a busy environment it’s a lot to think about. We are really sorry if this causes any difficulties for you but hope you’ll understand our reasons for this.

Gifts

Your presence at our wedding weekend is enough of a gift (yuck how cliche) — we promise! We know it takes time, effort and expense to join us for the weekend, so absolutely no presents are expected. But if you really can’t resist, a little contribution towards our honeymoon or future family adventures would be gratefully received.

Location

Please be aware that it is a rural area and, as such, transport links are limited. More info on directions can be found in the ‘quick links’ section below!

Pictures

We absolutely love photos — the more, the merrier! Just one small request: please no photos during the ceremony. We want to soak it all in without a sea of phone screens in the way.

Every other photo you take over the weekend is very welcome, and we’d be thrilled if you could share them with us. Think of it as helping us make the ultimate wedding scrapbook (and yes, embarrassing dance moves are highly encouraged!) Please either send them directly via whatsapp or to our google album here: Photo Gallery Upload

Help Us Curate Our Wedding Playlist

We’d love for you to help soundtrack our day! If there’s a song that makes you want to dance, sing along, or just reminds you of us, let us know in the form: Music request

We’ll do our best to include your requests during the weekend at our BBQ Friday evening, at the drinks reception or at the party afterwards!

RSVP

Please let us know whether you can make it by the 1st of March 2027 via this link: RSVP

(if you are struggling with the link please let Sarah or Bledd know and they can help you fill it in)
